Frederik Renders
After graduating from KU Leuven in 2006 with a master’s degree in law, Frederik Renders completed his education in 2007 with an additional master’s degree in economic law at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel.
Immediately after his studies, Frederik joined the COTTYN team and started as a lawyer at the Dendermonde bar. He has since built up expertise in various areas of law, focusing on general contract and company law.
Over the years, Frederick also developed a special knowledge of corporate law. He is particularly skilled in drafting many kinds of commercial agreements and helps entrepreneurs, shareholders, directors and corporations with all the legal issues they face. This includes providing advice, supporting the setting up and acquisition of companies, and representing the interests of entrepreneurs and their businesses in conflicts, both in and out of court.
Lastly, at COTTYN, Frederik Renders fulfills the role of coordinator of the civil law and economic (commercial) law units.

By taking a focused and specialised approach, constantly consulting with clients, I seek appropriate solutions for their problems. By preference, those solutions are negotiated and constructive. In pursuing this, I always try to be pragmatic. However, if it proves unavoidable, I will put the same effort into the legal proceedings required to achieve the desired end result.
