De voorbije week werd het advocatenkantoor COTTYN tweemaal door De Tijd verzocht om zich te buigen over een actueel thema. Op 24 augustus 2022 verscheen een artikel waarin Jan De Groote<\/a> gevraagd werd naar een reactie over de rol van burgemeesters in de strijd tegen het druggeweld. In de editie van 30 augustus 2022 kon u dan weer de visie van Lennert Dierickx<\/a> lezen over gezinshereniging in Belgi\u00eb en de recente beleidswijzigingen in Nederland.<\/p>\n

Beiden zijn ze, naast advocaat, ook actief in de academische wereld. Zo is Mr. Dierickx praktijkassistent aan de faculteit Recht en Criminologie van de Universiteit Gent waar hij mee het vak ‘Algemene Beginselen van het Recht’<\/em> doceert. Mr. De Groote is verbonden aan de VUB en gaf in het verleden vormingen over grondrechten.<\/p>\n
