{"id":1203,"date":"2021-12-13T15:39:19","date_gmt":"2021-12-13T13:39:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cottyn.eu\/massa-dictum-quam-quis-mattis-nunc-gravida-elementum-donec-ipsum-5\/"},"modified":"2022-03-23T16:42:14","modified_gmt":"2022-03-23T14:42:14","slug":"belgian-days-2021","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cottyn.eu\/en\/belgian-days-2021\/","title":{"rendered":"Belgian Days 2021 Recap"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Last month, Marc Cottyn from our Belgian office and Izabella Lys-Gorzkowska from our Polish office represented COTTYN Lawyers at the Belgian Days 2021 in Poland.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The Belgian Days are an annual event, organised by the Belgian Business Chamber and as they state themselves it is &#8216;<em>a time for celebrating Belgium, creating new business connections and tightening the already existing ones.<\/em>&#8216;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">It is a week filled with plenty of activities, starting with King\u2019s Day on Monday where all participants could gather at the Embassy of Belgium at the reception hosted by the Ambassador, Mr. Luc Jacobs, for some Belgian specialties. A great start of an interesting week.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Tuesday was all about Real Estate, starting off with a conference with experts from various fields who came to present and discuss the challenges and chances for the real estate market in the future. After gathering all this information, the participants were invited to the Belgian Business Mixer for the true networking event of the week. This took place in a special venue that is newly opened Skyfall on the 46th floor of Ghelamco\u2019s latest development \u2013 Warsaw Unit.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">On Wednesday evening, the participants could enjoy a musical intermezzo from Maestro Piet Swerts, accompanied by Ataneres Ensemble, which created a magical atmosphere in the Lutheran Holi Trinity Church.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Who run the world? Thursday started off Business Women Club Business Breakfast. During this breakfast, all female attendees were gathered for a workshop to work on their image and communication skills.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">On Friday, the week was ended with the CEO Forum at the Embassy of Belgium. A final networking event where experiences could be exchanged. Also, the Minister of Finance, Mr. Tadeusz Ko\u015bci\u0144ski was there who gave a presentation and answered some questions. Afterwards the BBC Award 2021 winners were announced, who were applauded and celebrated, which was of course a pleasant ending of this business week.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">COTTYN Lawyers is looking forward to the Belgian Days 2022!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Read more?
