Steven Lievens

Steven Lievens joined the firm immediately after completing law school (2006) and supplementary master’s degree in economic law (2007), making him an established figure and one of the longest-serving associates here.

He practices general commercial and contract law, with a focus on contracting and construction law, both in the private context and concerning the performance of public contracts. He has been coordinator of the firm’s construction law unit since 2012.

Steven handles cases for individuals, companies and governments and assists them with advice and during negotiations and, if necessary, in court. Specialisms

Steven in his own words

Knowing the case, knowing the client and their business and motivations, as well as consultation with all parties involved are vital. What we want to achieve and how it can be done as efficiently as possible.

I am all in favour of reaching amicable solutions that are in the client’s interests, but will engage in proceedings with equal enthusiasm.
