Where it all began… COTTYN Belgium originated in 1978 through the merger of three Flemish sole proprietorships, operating at the time under the name “Advokatenkantoor Stevens, Cottyn en Roseleth”. In the 1990s, the firm underwent its first name change and “Cottyn, Roseleth, Van de Steen en Co, advocatenkantoor” was introduced. Today, a more modern and streamlined name feels far more appropriate. ‘What’s in a name?’ For that reason, in 2012 the decision was made to adopt the short and powerful company name COTTYN NV, operating under the trade name COTTYN Lawyers.
To this day, COTTYN Belgium remains the beating heart of the COTTYN network, where the first connections are made and new relationships are built.
