Alina Marsavela
After a 7-year career as a reception teacher at Scholengroep Sint-Maarten, VBS Moorsel-Immerzeel, Alina Marsavela made the move to COTTYN in 2015. What began as a maintenance position quickly grew into a versatile and responsible role. Thanks to her drive and professionalism, Alina emerged as an essential force within the team.
As of 2025, Alina has continued to build her career as a management assistant. Her biggest responsibilities include creating files and managing the filing system, tasks that fully showcase her accuracy and organisational skills.
She also occasionally supervises job students and interns, sharing her experience and knowledge to help them along the way.
Her broad language knowledge and international background also make her a valuable link for language issues. Alina regularly serves as the first point of contact for translations and supports both lawyers and clients with quick and efficient solutions.
With her enthusiasm, professionalism and dedication, Alina contributes daily to the smooth operation of the office and remains a valued colleague on the team.

Alina in her own words
In the summer of 2013, I received a call asking if I could replace someone who had dropped out. With some trepidation, not knowing what to expect, I went to the office in Aalst the next day. From the very first moment, I was struck by the impressive building and the warm atmosphere among colleagues. It felt at home right away, even though at first I thought the job was only temporary. Now, all these years later, I am proud and grateful to still be part of the team at COTTYN.
What I appreciate most is the opportunity to grow that I have been given here. From my first day, I felt that my efforts were noticed and appreciated. Thanks to the trust and support of my colleagues and supervisors, I have been able to develop in ways I never dreamed of. I have always been given the space to learn new things and to grow, not just as an employee but also as an individual.
For me, COTTYN is more than just a workplace. It is an environment where I can be myself, where my efforts are recognised and where I enjoy coming to work every day. It is a place where opportunity knows no bounds, and that is something I treasure.
