Birgit Van Nuffel
In 2021, Birgit Van Nuffel graduated from Ghent University with merit as a master of law.
Driven by both her passion for the legal aspect as well as her interest in the human aspect, she had earlier passed an MSc in criminological sciences with distinction in 2018. Thanks to the multidisciplinary nature of this course, she also sharpened her insights into human dynamics.
She began an internship at the Dendermonde bar immediately after her law studies and joined the COTTYN team in December 2023.
At the Belgian division of COTTYN, Birgit Van Nuffel primarily handles cases in criminal law, immigration law and personal and family law.
Her inquiring and empathetic disposition allow her to be attentive to the specific concerns in each case.
